The Boys & Girls Clubs of the East Valley (BGCEV) annually conducts our Guardians for Kids Program (GFK) which is designed to ensure that BGCEV programs and services are available to the children and families who come to us, and they will not be turned away due to lack of financial resources. During these challenging times for us all, BGCEV’s demand for programs and services by families for their children escalates, which is exactly why GFK is in place.
BGCEV served 34,000 youth in 2009 at eleven Branches in nine communities and had 11,000 club members. In 2009, of the 11,000 club members, BGCEV provided over 7,000 fee waivers for annual membership dues which are a nominal $20 per year.
